Ivan is leading the implementation of the Deposit Return Scheme in Slovakia in Plzensky Prazdroj. He also helps educate the beer industry on the topic through Slovak Beer and Malt Association and leads the can recycling work group at the Deposit Return Scheme administrator. In Plzensky Prazdroj, he helps implement the new sustainability strategy and develop programs to support communities and manages relations with institutions in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He joined Prazdroj from the parent group Asahi Europe & International, where he was responsible for communication and managed relations with European institutions.

Rebeka Tunegová graduated as MSc at Loughborough University London in Innovation & Sport Business, as well as BA (Hons) in Marketing, advertising & public realitions at University of Worcester. As a marketing manager she´s been operating in various industries with the main focus on innovations. For more than five years she´s been in the UK working primarily in the sector of digital marketing and buidling of social media strategies for various brands, mostly operating in sports industry. As a marketing manager she´s been responsible for complex marketing campaigns for slovak olympic centre x-bionic sphere and small and large-scale sports events. From 2020 she works for Plzeňský Prazdroj in the department of trade marketing, where she´s responsible for off trade activations, primarily for brands Pilsner Urquell and Šariš. The main projects include planning and execution of off trade visibility, brand activations and development of secondary packaging – multipacks.

Michal Karásek graduated from the Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University – sociology and psychology. He dedicated his professional career to Field Marketing, which he has been working on for more than 15 years. He gained experience throughout his work in several positions – from being a promoter, the key account manager to taking part in the production process in several companies. At present, his mission is to create „Bezva propagace“ company. This project aims to seek creative ways to present clients‘ products and services in the 21st century, including the circular economy concept.

At the same time, she gained experience within advertising agencies as an account manager for clients of various kinds. She combined her love for gastronomy and marketing into one and currently works in the position of Brand Manager for Plzenský Prazdroj for more than 2 years. After successful relaunch of Velkopopovický Kozel she shifted her enthusiasm to another brand. Maja is currently developing her love brand – Pilsner Urquell – and is responsible for its growth both in the brand’s attributes and in value.

Jiří has joined the Smart Prague team to lead projects related to energy management and energy efficiency in Prague’s municipal buildings. Indeed, Smart Building and Energy is one of the pillars of the Smart Prague 2030 Strategy which is implemented by the Smart Prague team.
One of the most significant projects supervised by Jiří consisted in using the EPC method in order to save more than 4 million euros in 12 years and to reduce Prague’s CO2 emissions by 45% by 2030 and to become a carbon-neutral city by 2050. This project of the city of Prague was awarded in 2019 by The Association of Energy Service Providers (APES) of the Czech Republic.

Pavel Zedníček is currently in charge of operations at the Institute for Circular Economy (INCIEN). Pavel finished studied at the University of Chemistry and Technology (VŠCHT) and finished his master’s degree at the Utrecht University in the Netherlands in the field of Sustainable business and Innovations. He completed an exchange study at the prestigious Swiss university ETH Zurich, focusing on material flows and climate models. Pavel participated in projects or internships abroad, including France, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and Shanghai. In the Czech Republic, he co-founded the Czech EIT Climate-KIC Hub, which focuses on supporting (technological) innovations that mitigate climate impacts. Its main focus at INCIEN is currently the potential of the circular economy to achieve climate goals in heavy industry, where industrial symbiosis plays an important role. He also specializes in the analysis of material flows and the topic of bioeconomy (utilization of organic side streams). Pavel is also part of the working group on circular economy at the City of Prague.

James co-founded MMT Digital after he graduated in 1999 and has since grown it to be one of the UKs leading technical agencies with over 160 people, and offices in the Midlands, London and Leeds.
In 2019 he took the company carbon negative, offsetting far more carbon than they produce and aiming to half their carbon footprint over the next 4 years. As the co-chair of the BIMA Sustainability Council he now runs a training course for other companies on how to model and reduce their carbon footprints using the tools and processes he developed and that are now available via the website that supports his initiative (netcarbonnegative.co.uk).
In 2020 MMT Digital became part of MSQ and James helped them to became carbon negative across their entire global operations. James is now the group’s Chief Sustainability Officer and is leading the carbon reduction strategy.
