Jiří Šindelář (Mentor)

Head of the Building Information Management Department at ČEPS

I once dreamed of becoming a rock star — and while the stage has been replaced by screens, the
passion remains. These days, I use that energy into building smarter digital tools. My fascination with technology has begun early, back in high school. Later, during my university studies, I spent some time in South Korea, where I wrote my diploma thesis focused on Building Information Management (BIM). BIM and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) have became more than just academic interests — they evolved into my main professional focus. Since then, I’ve been working on integrating BIM and GIS technologies into our company. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing different perspectives, which often help me develop more effective and innovative digitalization solutions.
